Change the Face of Depression Is Now Reaching 73 Countries
When I first started Change the Face of Depression, I never imagined I would one day say this:
CTFOD is now reaching people in 73 countries around the world.
Seventy-three.
When I saw the numbers, I had to pause for a moment. I thought about the journey that brought this mission to life — the grief, the healing, the late nights building resources, recording podcast episodes, writing, researching, and sharing the truth about what depression actually feels like.
What started as a deeply personal mission has grown into something global.
And that is both humbling and powerful.
A Mission Born From Pain and Purpose
Change the Face of Depression was never created as a business idea.
It came from lived experience.
From grief. From loss. From the moments where life feels too heavy to carry alone.
The goal has always been simple:
To remind people that they are not broken, not weak, and not alone in what they feel.
Depression often isolates people. It convinces them they are the only one struggling. It tells them to stay quiet.
CTFOD exists to break that silence.
73 Countries, One Shared Human Experience
Mental health struggles do not belong to one city, one state, or even one country.
They are part of the human experience.
Right now, people from 73 different countries have visited Change the Face of Depression to read, listen, learn, or simply feel seen.
That means someone somewhere in the world has landed on this space and thought:
"Someone understands."
And that is the entire purpose.
What This Means for the Future
Reaching 73 countries tells me something important:
The conversation about mental health is needed everywhere.
It also means the mission of CTFOD is only getting started.
Moving forward, the goal is to continue expanding:
• More resources• More honest conversations• More stories• More support for people navigating grief, depression, trauma, and healing
Because mental health support should never feel out of reach.
This Is Not a Solo Journey
Even though I often build things quietly behind the scenes, CTFOD has never been a one-person mission.
Every person who reads an article, listens to the podcast, shares a post, or tells a friend about this work becomes part of the movement.
You are helping change the way we talk about mental health.
You are helping someone else feel less alone.
And that matters more than any statistic.
Thank You for Being Here
To everyone who has supported this mission — whether you have followed along from the beginning or discovered CTFOD recently — thank you.
Every visit, every conversation, every moment of connection helps move this mission forward.
Seventy-three countries later, one truth remains the same:
The best thing we can do for our human friends is show up for each other.
And we will continue doing exactly that.
With gratitude,
Casie (K.C.)
