CTFOD at the LOL JAX Film Festival

CTFOD at the LOL JAX Film Festival 🎬✨

This past month, Change the Face of Depression (CTFOD) had the honor of being a vendor at the LOL JAX Film Festival! It was an incredible experience to step out into the community, connect with new faces, and share everything that CTFOD stands for.

At our vendor table, we highlighted two of our biggest projects:

  • The CTFOD Mental Health Guidebook – our Amazon-published resource designed to guide and support anyone navigating mental health challenges. 📖 Grab a copy here.

  • The CTFOD Resource Directory – a comprehensive hub of support tools, organizations, and guidance, all gathered to make sure no one walks their journey alone.

We had deep conversations about mental health, stigma, and the importance of resources—and we left more inspired than ever.

Special Thanks 💜

Our vendor table wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible sponsorship of JAXColor. Their support brought our booth to life, and they went above and beyond to make sure we looked amazing. Truly—INCREDIBLE work!

Unexpected Treasures 🎨✏️

The festival was also about connection and creativity. I was gifted a priceless piece of art titled “Cobra” by the amazing Mike Messier in exchange for one of our books. The kind of exchange that feels truly soul-for-soul.

And for the first time, I got a caricature drawing from the talented Mario Scott. Sitting still was the hardest part (😂), but the end result? Pure magic—I absolutely love it!

Final Reflections 🌱

Being at LOL JAX reminded us why community presence matters. Every conversation was a chance to connect, encourage, and let people know that resources exist—that they matter.

We’re grateful to everyone who stopped by, to the artists who shared their gifts, and to the organizers for hosting such a powerful event.

It felt so good to be out there—and we’re ready to do more. ✨Let’s keep showing up, together.
