Banana Chocolate Chip Overnight Oatmeal

So, let me just say how I have always…always…ALWAYS hated oatmeal. That is until I tried it in a more delicious fashion. Overnight oatmeal! Sounds cool right? I already know what you are thinking…it cooks overnight. Well not exactly. There’s no cooking required. This is a recipe that is literally toss, mix and forget. You can adjust the ingredients to any variation that you want. Any thing you would put in a bowl of hot oatmeal you can add here. My recipe includes old fashion oats with bananas and chocolate chips. Who doesn’t love that combination? To make it extra healthy I used almond milk and added some ground flax seeds to help with digestion. I promise you will never make oatmeal over a hot stove…or microwave again! Here’s what you need: Makes 4-6 servings 1 cup old fashioned oats (not quick oats) 1 cup sweetened vanilla almond milk (plain is fine or even regular milk) 1 cup nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt (plain is fine or if you don’t have non fat then use regular) ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 tablespoon honey 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds ¼ teaspoon cinnamon 1 banana smashed Directions…get ready because this is very hard. 1. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. 2. Place in container with lid or cover with plastic wrap and let sit in fridge for a minimum of 5 hours or overnight (8-10 hours). 3. Top with more chocolate chips and bananas. I hope you guys enjoy this video and please LIKE, COMMENT, SUBSCRIBE AND CLICK THAT BELL to get notified of newly posted videos.
